Darryl Duffy

Falkirk signed Darryl Duffy from Rangers in the pre season of 2004-05. This was my first season supporting Falkirk and Duffy made a huge impression on me. Duffy just got better and better each game but his defending from the front let him down as he never chased back or closed defenders down.

Paddy Cregg

Paddy Cregg joined Falkirk in January 2005 from Arsenal, the young Irishman is a terrier like midfield player and even in his short time at the club he stood head and shoulders apart from the other youngsters at the club.

Anthony Stokes & Carl Finnigan (Joint Winners)

I could not decide who to give this award to. Anthony Stokes came to Falkirk on loan from Arsenal and banged in 16 Goals before being transferred to Sunderland. Stokes was phenomenal and fully deserved to win this award outright but he wasn't a Falkirk player and Finnigan is. Carl Finnigan signed from Newcastle in the January window and although he didn't come anywhere near Stokes's goal tally his work rate is superb and has been a terrific signing for Falkirk.

Scott Arfield

Scott Arfield joined the Falkirk Academy at Under-14 level and graduated at the end of the 06-07 season. He played a part in the pre-season trip to Holland and quickly established himself in the Falkirk midfield. His form during the year earned him several caps for the Scottish under-21 team. Scott is rumoured to be wanted by Manchester United and Chelsea.
