Scott
Flinders started out at Barnsley as
an 18 year old and made an instant
impression after replacing injured
Ross Turnbull in goal. His good form
earned him numerous England Under-20
caps and a £1,000,000 move to Crystal
Palace in 2006.
He failed to impress at Palace and
was nicknamed
"Butter-Flinders" by the
fans. Scott was then sent out on
loan to Gillingham, Brighton, Yeovil
and Blackpool.
Flinders signed for Falkirk on a
six-month loan deal in August 2008.
