In the first half,
Inverness controlled most of the match and gave
Falkirk an early scare when Adam Rooney was put
through on goal and Olejnik had to make a double
save from Rooney and strike partner Gary Wood.
After nice play by
Ross Tokely, Don Cowie received the ball and his
curling shot was just tipped over by Olejnik.

On the hour,
McNamara punted the ball up the park and Barrett
done well to keep the ball in play. The Irishman
cut the ball back into the penalty box and found Mark
Stewart who slotted the ball into the bottom
corner.
Just a few minutes
later, Inverness got the equaliser. Don Cowie
drilled the ball low into the net from a corner
after the Falkirk defence failed to take their
chances of clearing their lines.
With six minutes
remaining, Dougie Imrie fired the ball into the
top corner of the net from 25 yards out and took
the three points up north.
