Just
seconds after the break, Hibs won a
free-kick and Shields hit it to the back
post. Colin Nish headered it back to the
centre of the goal and it was an easy tap in
for youngster Paul Hanlon.
Falkirk
again came back with a goal and again it was
from Higdon. New summer signing Jackie
McNamara played a disguised pass down the
middle and Michael Higdon finished it
well.
That
was the last of the scoring but Falkirk
still pressured and dominated for the last
20 minutes.
In the dying seconds, McNamara laid the ball
of for Mark Stewart and the youngster's
powerful shot crashed against the post.
