from the stand but the TV showed that Shaun
Maloney dived to get the free-kick that led
to Stephen McManus scoring with his
arm.
Falkirk
manager was raging and even more so when Giorgios
Samaras was allowed to score into an
empty net after rounding Olejnik. Maloney
flicked the ball to Samaras who was put
through on goal as the defence were nowhere
to be seen.
Falkirk had
few chances, the best of them falling to
Mark Stewart and Michael Higdon, but the
overall performance was ok apart from losing
two goals.

minutes to go, Giorgios Samaras made it
three with a low drive into the corner.
Falkirk
weren't expecting anything out of the game
anyway and for the Bairns, the season
started the next again week against
Inverness.
